MARKET READINESS
A compelling product is the starting point. We look at the customer opportunity, channel economics, and your ability to supply the business before shaping a representation strategy.
Identify priority retail, club, wholesale, or foodservice channels and target territories. Review current distribution, accounts already approached, and existing representation to focus on genuinely new opportunities.
Select two or three priority SKUs. Clarify the target consumer, the reason a buyer should care, your strongest sales evidence, and the shelf life available when the customer receives the product.
Review wholesale and target retail pricing, delivered costs, retailer and distributor margins, freight minimums, and promotional support. Build a commercial proposition that can support repeat business.
Assess production capacity, order minimums, distribution coverage, and inventory planning. Consider larger or multipack formats for club stores and operator-friendly pack sizes for foodservice.
Agree on the sales role, account ownership, channels, territories, compensation, and term. Distinguish existing business from new accounts and set clear expectations for follow-up and account development.
Define what a successful relationship should accomplish over the next 12 months. Review buyer feedback, qualified opportunities, distribution gains, sales trends, and supply readiness against those priorities.

FROM INTRODUCTION TO ACCOUNT DEVELOPMENT
Food brokerage can connect a brand's sales effort with the day-to-day work of growing accounts. The engagement should make ownership, priorities, and progress visible from the beginning.
Choose target accounts and prepare a buyer-ready presentation grounded in product differentiation, pricing, supply capability, and channel fit.
Align samples, buyer follow-up, distributor discussions, and promotional planning with the agreed scope. Keep commercial commitments connected to operational readiness.
Use account feedback and sales performance to refine the offer, prioritize follow-up, and decide where further distribution makes commercial sense.
LEADERSHIP CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Selected achievements from our leadership's career across represented companies and prior businesses.
Developed eight private-label HPP items for the nation's largest retailer, with 5,000+ stores, generating approximately $40 million in new business for the represented company.
Grew a national brand's sales through a large international retailer from approximately $400,000 to more than $1.2 million while maintaining in-stock performance, retailer margins, forecasting discipline, and supply-chain efficiency.
Expanded distribution through a large international retailer from 3 to 9 distribution centers in 18 months and through a club-store channel from 3 to 12 in 24 months. Developed seasonal products at the club-store customer's request.
Additional experience includes negotiating a full-scale distribution agreement with a publicly traded U.S. company for HPP products in retail and club channels, and creating a contracted beverage development partnership to build co-packing business for juices, flavored waters, and other beverages.
